Big Valley® Cattle Management
Portable Care Center
The Big Valley® Portable Care Center provides a portable and self-contained working area to assist with calving and calf acceptance (nursing) problems. It is also an ideal general cattle work area for smaller operations. Its one-man operation and complete portability makes this an essential part of any cattle operation. The system will work with any Big Valley® Headgate.
The squeeze gate is split, making it possible to swing out of the way to correct nursing problems, graft calves to cows, or perform caesareans. The squeeze gate can be swung completely out of the way to form a 10' x 8' pen. The Portable Care Center comes standard with 8' panels but can be enlarged by using 10', 12', 14' or 16 side panels (see Crowding Corral Panels to order longer panels). The 4' access door provides easy entrance.
